I am a retired physiotherapist who has worked with a variety of clients in many different settings both in the U.K. and since 1981, in Canada. For the last 22 years of my working life, I was involved with children and young adults in the schools, their homes and the community. This gave me wide experience of being part of a team, which comprised families, school staff, medical professionals and of course clients. Since my retirement I have volunteered with a group who sponsors refugees coming into Canada, especially in the role of a fund raiser and a driver to medical appointments. I am also People’s Warden and a Sunday School Teacher at a local Anglican Church in North Vancouver. I very much enjoy the theatre and see a variety of performances both in Vancouver and on the North Shore. Theatre Terrific has given me an opportunity to be part of an organization which works to remove barriers, of all kinds, and allows people of all abilities to strive to reach their potential in a fun and meaningful manner.
